Nepal is a landlocked country in South Asia. Nepal extends from 26 degrees 22 minutes to 30 degrees 27 minutes north latitude and from 80 degrees 4 minutes to 88 degrees 12 minutes east longitude. Nepal occupies 0.03 percent of the world's land area, 0.3 percent of Asia and 2.82 percent of South Asia. Nepal is located between India and China, two huge countries in Asia. It is about 1127 km from the sea / Bay of Bengal. Min. Nepal has an area of 1,47,516 square kilometers or 56,827 square miles. The east-west length of Nepal is 885 km and the north-south width is 193 km on average. It is bounded on the south by the Indian states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, on the west by the Indian state of Uttarakhand, on the east by the state of West Bengal, Sikkim, and on the north by the Chinese autonomous region of Tibet. Nepal's standard time is based on the longitude of 86 degrees 15 minutes east of Gauri Shankar Himal in Dolakha district. Nepal's time is 5 hours 45 minutes faster than the standard time in Greenwich This time B.S. It was implemented on 1st April, 2042 BS. Nepal has 8 of the 14 peaks above 8000 meters in the world. There are more than 1300 peaks of 6000 meters and above. There are only 301 peaks in the Mustang area. Along with the Himalayas, Nepal has beautiful rivers like Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and beautiful lakes like Rara, Phewa and Gosaikunda. Due to the diversity of topography as well as the extreme variation of climate and weather, tropical, mesothermal, micro thermal, taiga and tundra climates are found in Nepal. Elevated diversity in the geographical physical form of Nepal has created a situation of geographical diversity of geographical diversity. On the world map, Nepal is also known as the land of the seas, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha, the land of Lumbini, and the land of the special flag.
