Nepal is a landlocked country in South Asia. Nepal extends from 26 degrees 22 minutes to 30 degrees 27 minutes north latitude and from 80 degrees 4 minutes to 88 degrees 12 minutes east longitude. Nepal occupies 0.03 percent of the world's land area, 0.3 percent of Asia and 2.82 percent of South Asia. Nepal is located between India and China, two huge countries in Asia. It is about 1127 km from the sea / Bay of Bengal. Min. Nepal has an area of ​​1,47,516 square kilometers or 56,827 square miles. The east-west length of Nepal is 885 km and the north-south width is 193 km on average. Due to the diversity of topography as well as the extreme variation of climate and weather, tropical, mesothermal, micro thermal, taiga and tundra climates are found in Nepal.
